Akwa Ibom State Female Football Team, Ibom Angels, will be resuming to camp ahead of the 2019/2020, Nigeria Women Football League Season, on Monday,3rd February,2020.
According to information from the management of the club through its media department, all players and officials of the club, are expected to be at the Uyo Township Stadium by 8am on the said date.
Furthermore,the management used the opportunity to wish the technical crew, backroom staff, and the players a very happy new year.
It will be recalled that the Orange Ladies finished in the third position behind Confluence Queens and Abia Angels in the 2018/2019 abridged league season.
Meanwhile, the media unit of the club is expressing gratitude to all supporters and followers of the team’s different media platforms for their love and constructive criticisms, which in return has helped the unit to win the media officer of the season through the Media Manager,Mr.Ini Akang.
Also worthy of appreciation is the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) Akwa Ibom State Chapter for the commitment of its members towards projecting Ibom Angels in good light all season.
The media unit, therefore, pledges for more co-operation as we look forward to a more fruitful 2019/2020 season.
